Surrender of self is one of the hardest challenges. To be emptied of grandiose ideals helps one see things squarely, in sharper focus, and with eyes of truth and grace in harmony. I love the idea and experience of leaning into that restful place of not striving to measure (fill in the blank) and just being alright. It takes trust but is worth the effort.
